Signs of Reincarnation: Exploring Beliefs, Cases, and Theory by James Matlock

James Matlock’s book, Signs of Reincarnation, is a recent addition to seemingly endless stream confused or superficial works on the topic survival. Admittedly (and as one would expect), case material often genuine interest. But when Matlock tries make sense that material, he demonstrates little grasp current state debate. Even worse, seems unaware intellectually responsible strategies for challenging and criticizing positions opposed his own.
 Since criticizes what says are my views throughout because this issue JSE features two comprehensive reviews I’ll focus only principal respects in which misdescribes position ignores extended discussions I’ve provided, not Immortal Remains (Braude, 2003), but elsewhere (e.g., Braude, 2005a, 2005b, 2014a, 2014b, 2020), explaining problems with tired flawed lines reasoning endorses.
